On Sunday we took a trip to La Rábida, the monastery where Christopher Columbus sailed from. We toured the rooms and saw beautiful artwork and gardens. Outside we climbed aboard three replica ships: the Niña, the Pinta and the Santa Maria.
After the monastery, we spent the day at the beach. The beach, La Playa de las Dunas, was breathtaking. Tan sand and myriads of unique shells led to the royal blue water of the Mediterranean Sea.
