Madrid

This past weekend we traveled to Madrid, Spain's capital city. We went to three fantastic museums: the Museo del Prado, Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía and Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. My favorite part was seeing Velazquez's "Las Meninas..." it is gorgeous! We also went to St. Michael's Market for some delicious food. The tour I loved most on the trip was of the Royal Palace. It is the largest in Europe and elaborately decorated in vivid colors.
